Police and officials from the Indonesian Embassy here are working together in the investigations into the Tuesday’s double murder and suicide case in Taman Sri Putra, Sungai Buloh here. They are working to trace a friend of the maid, as well as her family in Indonesia. The maid in her 30s had allegedly murdered two children — 5-year-old Koay Jia Hong and 18-month-old Melvin Selvan Joseph — under her care before committing suicide. The embassy’s counsellor (consular affairs) Dino Nurwahyudin said they need to contact the friend of the maid, only known as Agnes, and the latter’s family to establish her identity and how she entered Malaysia. He said police have taken Agnes’s hand phone, and they are working to trace her recent calls, hoping to reach the family and anyone else who might be able to shed some light into the shocking incident.
